On 5-6 June with the support of the Department of Tourism and Resorts of Georgia Georgian Tourism Association organized adventure race. The event is organized annually in Vardzia. This year it was held for the second time.
16 teams of tour operators, media and Georgian as well international organizations took part in the competition. Each team had 6 members. The race included three different sport discipline: running – 6 km distance, biking – 12,5 km distance and rafting on the river Mtkvari 2,5 km distance.
Aspindza municipality team took first place in the competition. Team “Geoland” won the second prize. Joint team of “Mogzauri” and “Jomardi” won the third prize. They were awarded with 3 000, 2 000 and 1 000 Gel respectively.
